ABOUT / TYLER, TEXAS
Experience.
Purpose. People.
The work matters.
So do the people behind it.
I’m Matthew Kemp. My perspective comes from hands-on oilfield work, training teams, and understanding what it takes to keep an operation moving.
01 / My foundation
Know the work.
Build what helps.

I have worked in the oilfield since 2010. My background spans fracturing, cementing, acidizing, coil tubing, stimulation and chemical operations, equipment operation, operational data, inventory reconciliation, and crew leadership. I’ve trained engineers in field work and helped operators turn technical information into practical action.
That experience shapes what I build: tools that make responsibility visible, preserve the source behind a number, and help the next person make an informed decision.
With a BBA in Finance from Sam Houston State University, I also think about what a workflow means for costs, documentation, billing, and the business.

& community.
I’m a husband and father of three, and a member of Metropolitan Baptist Church in Tyler, Texas. Family, faith, and community are part of the perspective I bring to my work.
I’m a Member and Manager of Kemp Ventures LLC, and my community involvement includes serving on the Advisory Council of Cornerstone Clay Community Development Corporation, where I advise on land and real estate development. Cornerstone Clay is a faith-based nonprofit incorporated in Texas in 2026. It works to increase affordable housing, preserve neighborhood stability, and equip families with financial literacy and homeownership education across Texas. Learn more about Cornerstone Clay ↗.
I’m interested in practical innovation that creates value for organizations and the people who make them work.
